Our very popular 300g brown rice miso is now available in a Mini version! As Miso is getting more and more popular, we decided to launch this handy Mini version (150g) to encourage customers new to miso to try it without having to buy a large jar.

Miso is a flavourful Japanese whole soya food that makes a rich, satisfying soup. This robust unpasteurised miso, Genmai Miso in Japanese, has been developed for maximum nutrition using fermented whole soya beans and brown rice.

As this Miso is unpasteurised it is packed with an abundance of live ‘beneficial’ enzymes which means this product will continue to ferment over time. This maturation process may cause the centre of the lid to bulge upwards. If this occurs rest assured that the product is still delicious and safe to consume and has not been previously opened as confirmed by the presence of the transparent tamper proof seal.

Harmless white yeast may develop from exposure to the air, simply skim off.
