Evolve Organic Beauty's Salicylic Rescue Serum contains organic acai, organic andiroba and organic copaiba, three species native to the Amazon. Evolve Organic Beauty's rainforest blend of acai, andiroba and copaiba is made by Beraca in Para, in the Brazilian Amazon. All three are harvested from the fruit, seed and resin of living trees, so the tree is not felled to produce them. Beraca sources from extractive communities across Brazil and runs a Socio-Biodiversity Enhancement Programme, which the company says contributes to regional development and to the environmental preservation of Brazil's biomes.
