Botanical Description:
Grape vines are grown the world over for their delicious, popular berry fruit, as well as for the production of wine. The pips from the grapes have long been valued due to their high nutritional value. Grapeseed oil is very similar to olive oil in nutrition, but unlike olive oil, grapeseed oil does not contain any saturated fat.

Directions for Use:
Body / Skincare:
Grapeseed makes a versatile & economical body skincare base with excellent emollient & skin-softening properties. It is light-weight & easily absorbed & does not clog the pores. Great for oily complexions or those prone to acne. Helps balance both dry & oily patches on the skin so well suited to combination types. This oil can be applied direct to the skin, or blended with essential oils for an aromatic body or massage oil.
Haircare:
Moisturises & conditions the hair without leaving it greasy. Great for making hair feel soft: apply as conditioner for 20 minutes before shampooing.
DIY / Tips:
Apply locally to help reduce wrinkles, scars, stretch marks, help tighten sagging skin & diminish dark circles around the eyes. An effective make-up remover.
Skin Types:
Suitable for all skin types, but especially oily, combination skin & acne-prone or blemished complexions.

Nutritional Value:
Rich in beta-carotene (known to prevent signs of ageing), plus Vitamins D, C & E.

Grapeseed oil is obtained from the seeds of the fruit (as a by-product of the wine industry), which are cold-pressed & the oil is then refined & naturally filtered for cosmetic use.
