Sweet Revolution Mermaid Chai Latte

Chai spices are used around the world for their numerous health benefits, which result from their antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. Sweet Revolution has added some Butterfly Pea to its recipe which contains phycocyanin, a compound high in antioxidants. This has been shown to have a number of benefits, including anti-inflammatory properties and can aid with immune regulation.

Included in Sweet Revolution's recipe is Blue Spirulina. Spirulina is an extract from the more common blue-green algae, which is known as spirulina and has a deep green colour and a distinctive taste. To create a blue spirulina, a compound called Phycocyanin is extracted, which is a light-harvesting, pigment-binding protein with an amazing bright blue colour. This compound has been shown to have antioxidant qualities along with a host of other benefits – plus it has a much milder taste.

This Pure Blend is designed to be made with your choice of hot milk, either dairy or non-dairy milk work well. It can also be made into a frappe with cold milk.
