Crosta Mollica Tarallini Fennel Seed Case of 8 × 180g

Hailing from Puglia, Crosta & Mollica's Tarallini are crafted by a tiny Italian bakery, from exceptional local ingredients — including soft Puglian wheat, a little white wine, fennel seeds and local extra virgin olive oil. Made with unproven dough that’s boiled before it’s baked, the Tarallini’s biscuit-like texture makes it a deliciously different pre-dinner nibble. Squisito!

Packaging:
Crosta & Mollica's Tarallini are available in two different pack sizes but Crosta & Mollica use the same materials for each – a mix of polypropelene film (European code #05) and either a cardboard box or a cardboard flap. The cardboard is widely recycled in kerbside domestic collections. However, few local authorities in the UK are able to accept the film bag in the local council recycling centre, although it can be recycled alongside carrier bags in large supermarkets.

Did you know?
The true origins of Taralli (the larger sibling to Crosta & Mollica's smaller Tarallini) are hotly disputed — some claim they were by created by impoverished Pugliese workers in the 8th century from leftover scraps of dough, while others believe it was invented in the 1400s by a quick-thinking mother, who worked the ingredients in her pantry into a snack for her hungry children.
