Ras El Hanout is a spice mix from North Africa and translates in Arabic to the “head of the shop”, which implies this is the best blend a spice seller has to offer.

It is a wonderfully aromatic seasoning containing Rose Petals and has a distinct scent of Cinnamon, Lavender and Cloves. Add to rice, couscous, tagines and BBQs or mix with oil, garlic and lemon juice to make a heady marinade.
