Ausha Organic Lakadong Turmeric Powder comes from the Lakadong region of Meghalaya, India, where this exceptional variety is traditionally grown. It is prized for its vibrant golden colour, rich flavour and naturally high curcumin content of 7,12%. Lakadong turmeric received a Geographical Indication (GI) Tag in 2024, and Ausha's powder won a 1-Star Great Taste Award in 2025.
It is easy to enjoy every day: stir it into warm milk with a pinch of black pepper for a golden latte, blend it into smoothies, or add it to curries, soups and sauces. Organically grown, Vegan and Vegetarian.
Sourcing:
Ausha sources its organic products directly from the farming community in small batches to make sure the products are of top quality and also the fresh stock reaches Ausha's customers.
Each batch goes though lab testing for pesticides testing and quality control.
Ausha frequently does farm visits and production factory visits in person to make sure the products are sourced and manufactured as per standards and the traceability is established.
How to use:
Mix 1 teaspoon into smoothies, fresh juices or warm water daily, or add to your cooking. For a golden latte, stir into warm milk with a pinch of black pepper. Keep out of reach of children and do not exceed the recommended dosage.
