Eco Green Living 0.5L Compostable Zip Lock Bags are compact and perfectly sized for dips, chopped herbs, portioned snacks, and small food items, with a secure, BPA-free zip-lock seal that fits easily into lunchboxes, pockets, and travel bags. Made from PBAT, corn starch, and PLA, they deliver the same reliable performance as conventional zip-lock bags. The bag material is certified compostable for both home and industrial composting; the zip closure itself is certified for industrial composting only, so it should be removed before home composting, while the whole bag including the zip can go straight into industrial composting without cutting. Certified to EN13432 by TÜV Austria and DIN Certco, plus the Australian AS4736 industrial standard, packaged in recyclable cardboard.

How it works:
Open the zip closure and fill the bag with snacks, sauces, or small portions. Press the zip firmly along its full length to seal. To compost, remove the zip strip first, then place the rest of the bag in an industrial composting facility. Do not use to boil food, and allow hot food to cool before placing it in the bag.

Disposal: For industrial composting, the whole bag including the zip strip can go straight in without cutting. For home composting, cut off the zip strip first and dispose of it separately, since the zip itself is industrial compostable only; the rest of the bag is suitable for home composting.

Compostability logos on the bag refer to the bag itself, not the outer box, which is separately recyclable cardboard.
