Carob powder is a popular caffeine free alternative for cocoa powder.
Use to replace chocolate in cakes, desserts and sauces. The Carob tree is part of the legume family and the beans grow in long pods that look similar to broad beans until they turn dark brown when they are ripe.
To make Hambleden Herbs' Carob powder they simply roast and grind organic Carob beans. Many people add sugar to their Carob powder but Hambleden Herbs don't. They just supply you with pure, organic, roasted and ground Carob beans.
