About
Panko bread crumbs are made from a special white bread. The name comes from the Japanese pan for bread and ko for flour.
Crunchy Kikkoman Panko bread crumb coating is a must-have in every kitchen. It's suitable for cooking, baking, roasting or deep-frying, and it makes everything exceptionally crispy. Because it's finely ground and dried, panko flakes are lighter and airier than conventional bread crumbs. And because it absorbs less oil and fat, the texture is noticeably crunchier.
A sweet secret: Kikkoman Panko bread crumbs contain no seasoning, so they're also ideal for desserts too. Tart bases become crispier, and deep-fried desserts are given a deliciously crunchy coating.
For extra creamy soups and sauces, simply stir in one to two tablespoons of Kikkoman Panko!
