Witch Hazel water is distilled from the American Witch Hazel Tree (Hamamelis Virginiana), native to North America. It is most commonly known as an antiseptic water, excellent for use as a freshing toner and skin cleanser as well as cleansing and soothing cuts and grazes. Its natural astringent properties means it has many first aid uses including to help sooth skin irritations, burns and bites and has been known to help with restless leg syndrome – simply apply to the base of the feet before bed.

Witch Hazel can also be useful to sooth red, puffy eyes – Apply to a cotton pad and rest this on closed eyes (be careful not to get witch hazel in the eyes).

It can be added to Hydrosols such as Rose Water to help preserve them.

This is an ambient product that can be stored at room temperature before opening. See packaging for further storage guidance if applicable.
