About
Steenbergs Organic Bouquet Garni Sachets are one of Steenbergs' Signature Herb Blends. It only uses natural, organic ingredients.
Bouquet Garni is a little bundle of herbs for infusing herbal flavours through slow cooked dishes. Traditionally, it is herbs bay, fresh parsley, sprigs of thyme tied together with string, though nowadays they are wrapped into muslin pouchettes.
Steenbergs blends together organic herbs to flavour for slow cooked dishes:
Thyme: a warm peppery flavour;
Marjoram: a warming flavour with hints of camphor and citrus;
Parsley: fresh and herby flavours;
Bay: spicy camphor notes.
Steenbergs fills this into natural muslin squares before tying the muslins by hand with cotton and making individual pouchettes.
Just pop one or two of Steenbergs Organic Bouquet Garni Sachets into a casserole for four people and remove before serving.
