About
A vibrant Sicilian olive oil, made from the first green olives of the harvest.
Sun & Seed's Early Harvest Extra Virgin Olive Oil is produced from a single variety of carefully selected green olives, hand-picked in southern Sicily at the beginning of the harvest. The olives are cold pressed below 27°C using only mechanical methods, helping to preserve their fresh character and delicate flavour.
The result is a beautifully balanced oil with a fresh, grassy aroma, gentle floral sweetness and a lively peppery finish.
It’s wonderful simply drizzled over fresh bread, salads, tomatoes, grilled vegetables or finished over your favourite dishes.
Why Sun & Seed loves it:
- 100% organic extra virgin olive oil
- Single-variety, early-harvest green olives
- Hand picked in southern Sicily
- Cold pressed below 27°C
- Fresh, grassy, floral and peppery flavour
- Great Taste Award – 1 Star
Review of the Judges:
"This olive oil welcomes with a delicate and inviting floral-citrus aroma. This continues through to the palate, albeit lighter, with floral sweetness and peppery spice on the finish. Attractively presented, this olive oil has a beautiful green colour and grassy aroma. It has pleasing depth of flavour with peppery and floral notes in evidence."
