An organic Nero d'Avola from the Trapani area of Sicily, fresh with red berry fruits and silky-smooth tannins.
Harvest:
Hand-picked at the end of October.
Vinification:
The grapes are very gently pressed after de-stemming. During the early stages of fermentation, Purato do a lot of pumping over. Once fermentation is finished, the wine is racked off and malolactic takes place.
Tasting notes:
Intense ruby red. The bouquet is fresh, with notes of red berry fruits. Rounded, with silky-smooth-tannins.
To serve:
Perfect to drink with a tomato-based pasta dish or pasta with vegetables.
