Alpha01 Organic Pumpkin Seed Oil 60 capsules

Alpha01 Organic Pumpkin Seed Oil comes in LiCaps, liquid capsules with a plant-derived hypromellose shell, filled with cold-pressed, virgin organic pumpkin seed oil and carrying the EU organic logo (SK-BIO-003) on the pouch. A three-capsule serving gives 2,160mg of oil with four fatty acids declared on the panel: 1,192mg of linoleic acid, 577mg of oleic acid, 255mg of palmitic acid and 101mg of stearic acid.

Two authorised claims apply. Linoleic acid contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels, and the beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 10g of linoleic acid. Because 1,769mg of the 2,125mg of fatty acids declared are unsaturated, the second applies as well: replacing saturated fats in the diet with unsaturated fats contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels, and oleic acid is an unsaturated fat.

Take three capsules a day with water. Both pouches hold the same organic oil in the same plant-based capsule.
