Fonio is an ancient Super-Grain that has been grown in West Africa for 5,000 years and is being touted as the “new quinoa” by foodies. Naturally gluten-free, nutrient-rich and low GI, it has a deliciously nutty flavour and a fluffy couscous-like texture.

But more than that, it provides life-changing income to women farmers in the African Sahel and restores degraded soils. Aduna Fonio is sourced form Southern Mali, helping to create sustainable incomes for over 320 women farmers.
