Botanical Description:
A small shrub with broad, thick, waxy leaves and small greenish-yellow flowers. Native to the warm, dry regions of south-western North America.

Directions for Use:
Body / Skincare:
Very similar to the skin’s own sebum, making it one of the best natural moisturisers. Being a liquid wax, it seals in moisture & is readily absorbed, able to penetrate deep into the skin where it acts as a cleanser by dissolving the sebum deposits & dislodging blockages. This oil can be applied direct to the skin, or blended with essential oils for an aromatic body or massage oil. Tip: This oil may naturally solidify when cold: Aqua Oleum recommend warming the bottle in a bowl of warm water before use.
Haircare:
A nourishing conditioner, giving a glossy shine & helps remedy split ends, brittle, dry or damaged hair. Can help control hair loss by deep cleansing the hair follicles of excessive sebum, facilitating the growth of new hair. Rub into damp hair & leave for 20 minutes before shampooing out.
DIY / Tips:
It can also be applied as a natural cleanser, used as a make-up remover & makes a great lip balm.
Skin Types:
Suitable for all skin types: excellent for oily or acne-prone skin by helping unclog the pores. Also beneficial for damaged, dry, ageing & inflamed skin. Suitable for sensitive skin & children.
