About
Rich, comforting and beautifully balanced. Grown high in Peru’s Andes Mountains, where cool temperatures and high altitudes allow coffee cherries to ripen slowly, Machu Picchu develops its wonderfully smooth body and deep chocolate character. Crafted by smallholder farming communities in the Peruvian Andes, this is a coffee that reflects the remarkable landscape it comes from — rich, balanced and full of character.
Simona Says (Coffee Quality Lead):
"In the cup, rich dark chocolate takes centre stage, layered with warming roasted hazelnut and subtle citrus and red-fruit sweetness. The result is a full-bodied coffee that’s smooth, rounded and deeply satisfying, with a lingering chocolate finish."
Single origin:
Machu Picchu, Peru
High on the south-eastern slopes of the Andes, up to 2,200m above sea level, the region’s biodiversity and climate make it perfect for growing Arabica coffee.
Strength 4:
Medium-dark roast
Rich and full-bodied, with deeper flavours and a smooth, satisfying finish.
