About
Serve in place of rice or grains. VegiRice is a quick and easy, lower calorie carb alternative. It also counts as a serving of veg! Use it as a side to meals (just like rice) or even as the base to a sweet potato mash.
Stovetop: 2-1/2 mins. Saute in a non-stick pan on a medium heat. There's no need for oil. For best results add herbs or spices and season to your taste. Serve steaming hot. Microwave: 2-1/2 mins. Microwave in an uncovered bowl for the time shown. Reduce cooking time if your oven is more powerful than 900 watts. You can also microwave Vegi Rice in the pouch; just tear-off the top and cook.
Freshness Sealed in: These pouches seal in the freshness of vegetables without any additives or preservatives. Store in a cool, dry place. There's no need to refrigerate or freeze. Once opened, contents should be kept refrigerated for no more than 3 days prior to eating.
