Steenbergs sources the highest quality Organic Black Peppercorns. Steenbergs packs them by hand in small batches in North Yorkshire. This gives you the freshest, warmest whole black pepper.
Axel's Tasting Notes: Aroma Peppery, warming, sweet roasted oily wood with lemony notes. Flavour Menthol clean and warming, with floral hints and spiced fruit, ending with penetrating cleansing taste – underlying umami meatiness.
Food pairing: Almost everything: pan-fried vegetables, ratatouille, chocolate puddings, strawberries. Black Pepper goes with nearly any savoury dish chips, roast potatoes, ground over fresh tomatoes. For something different, grind organic black peppercorns over strawberries or pop a couple into a gin cocktail.
